Oh dear Americans…
We too are humans
Why you kill us often
So mercilessly
Invade, ruin our nations
Are we not Americans?
That’s why?
Are we not Christians?
That’s why?
Are we not Jews?
That’s why
Are we Muslims?
That’s why
But we too are humans
Just like you
Same sorrows and pain
Same blood runs in our veins
A little Afghan orphan cry
Sees when a drone in sky
See humanity beyond border
Oh dear Americans
We too are your brothers
