On a Draft UN Declaration on the Right to Peace

Rhymed Reflections
Of all the many political documents in which Humankind may excel
there is one in which universal human intent is expressed well:
Declaration is its name
to which the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights has brought fame
In the History of The Culture of Peace
the drafting of declarations does not seem to cease
This is cogent evidence that Humankind wants the Presence of Peace to become
a global reality
With UN support, the AEDIDH initiative has eloquently given The Right to Peace
a global dignity
May the official approval of the Draft UN Declaration on the Right to Peace
in the Geneva meeting take place
so that the protection, promotion, and sustainability of that human right
will be shown on every human face
The Declaration on the Right to Peace will be more than hortatory:
Its global presence and application will be wisely celebratory
of governments` intent to see their peoples share the Earth in peace
and co-build Global Citizenship Cultures, planetarily never to cease!
