(Castellano) España Pedirá Este Lunes Explicaciones a EE.UU. por Supuesto Espionaje

El presidente del Gobierno español, Mariano Rajoy aclaró que el Ejecutivo no tiene constancia de haber sido espiado por Estados Unidos. Sin embargo, enfatizó que esta práctica, de confirmarse, es absolutamente inaceptable e inadmisible.

El Gobierno de España convocó para este lunes [29 Oct 2013] al embajador de Estados Unidos en España, James Costos, para pedirle explicaciones sobre el supuesto espionaje del país norteamericano a la nación ibérica, tras conocerse que la Agencia de Seguridad Nacional (NSA, por su sigla en inglés) espió a 35 líderes mundiales.

El secretario de Estado para la Unión Europea, Íñigo Méndez de Vigo, recibirá al embajador de EE.UU., junto al director general para América del Norte, Asia y Pacífico, Ernesto de Zulueta, debido a la ausencia del ministro español de Asuntos Exteriores, José Manuel García Margallo, que viaja este domingo a Polonia en visita oficial.

El presidente del Gobierno español, Mariano Rajoy, informó el viernes pasado desde Bruselas (capital de Bélgica), que había dado instrucciones a García Margallo para que convocara al embajador estadounidense.

En una rueda de prensa, Rajoy dijo que el Ejecutivo no tiene constancia alguna de que haya existido espionaje de Estados Unidos a dirigentes políticos españoles, pero comentó que espiar es impropio de una relación entre “socios y aliados”.

Rajoy explicó que hasta que no tenga toda la información y una “total y absoluta certeza” de lo ocurrido no tiene previsto adoptar ninguna medida, esto ante la posibilidad de que encargue una investigación al Centro Nacional de Inteligencia (CNI).

“El Gobierno español ha hecho constar que esta práctica, de confirmarse, es absolutamente inaceptable e inadmisible entre gobiernos socios, amigos y aliados”, dijo el jefe del Gobierno español.

Líderes de las naciones europeas expusieron este jueves, durante la reunión de jefes de Estados de la Unión Europea que se realizó en Bruselas, el tema del espionaje que durante años la nación norteamericana presuntamente hizo al teléfono de la canciller alemana, Ángela Merkel, lo que fue duramente cuestionado por los líderes del viejo continente.

La más enfática a la hora de cuestionar el espionaje fue la canciller Merkel, quien expresó que “espiar a los amigos es totalmente inaceptable”. La diplomática alemana indicó además que Estados Unidos deberá esforzarse y tomar medidas para recuperar la confianza que perdió con Alemania.
