Jake Lynch, Australians for BDS - TRANSCEND Media Service
We may be on the eve of victory!
Tomorrow (March 25th, 2014) is scheduled as a full day in the Federal Court as I defend myself against an attack on our political freedom – the application by Israeli law centre Shurat HaDin to have my stance on the academic boycott of Israel declared illegal under the Race Discrimination Act.
We don’t know how it will go, but it is possible the case will end tomorrow.
The court proceedings have been going well up to now, but the case is a complicated one, and the legal bills are rolling in.
We have raised a fantastic sum of just over $20,000, with contributions from over 300 co-defendants.
If you haven’t contributed yet, now would be a good time to follow through on your commitment!

Join the BDS-BOYCOTT, DIVESTMENT, SANCTIONS campaign to protest the Israeli barbaric siege of Gaza, illegal occupation of the Palestine nation’s territory, the apartheid wall, its inhuman and degrading treatment of the Palestinian people, and the more than 7,000 Palestinian men, women, elderly and children arbitrarily locked up in Israeli prisons.
