Free Speech and BDS Case: Applicants Wanting to Run!
TMS PEACE JOURNALISM, 26 May 2014
Jake Lynch, Australians for BDS – TRANSCEND Media Service
At a hearing in the Australian Federal Court, four of the five applicants to have me found guilty of racial discrimination applied to pull out of the action.
That would leave only Shurat HaDin, the right-wing Israeli law centre which has launched a despicable attack on political freedom in Australia.
They also indicated that they will now try to narrow the focus of the attack, which may spell the end of their attempt to have political activism in response to the call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions effectively declared illegal.
These are promising signs, and they’ve been brought about because – with your help and support – I have stood firm against these attacks.
I still need your help in meeting my legal bills, which are well into six figures.
Any donation you can afford to give would be enormously helpful.

Join the BDS-BOYCOTT, DIVESTMENT, SANCTIONS campaign to protest the Israeli barbaric siege of Gaza, illegal occupation of the Palestine nation’s territory, the apartheid wall, its inhuman and degrading treatment of the Palestinian people, and the more than 7,000 Palestinian men, women, elderly and children arbitrarily locked up in Israeli prisons.
