La vita di ognuno di noi passa in un soffio, ma la tua è stata ancora più breve. Nel poco tempo che ti è stato dato, sei stato capace di coltivare la cultura della nonviolenza con i progetti di servizio civile, di cui oggi c’è più bisogno che mai.

In questi tre, brevissimi anni dalla tua morte abbiamo ampliato il campo con l’impegnativo e ambizioso progetto IRENEA, “Cinema e arte per la pace”. Delle due sale che hanno ospitato uno dei primi cinema di Torino all’inizio del Novecento e, intorno all’anno mille, la chiesa dei Santi Simone e Giuda, una è stata dedicata alla memoria di Gabriella Poli, prima donna capo-cronista in Italia a “La Stampa”, l’altra a te per continuare la tua opera soprattutto con i giovani e avvicinarli alla nonviolenza.

Insieme agli amici e amiche del Centro Studi Sereno Regis abbiamo raccolto il messaggio che ci hai lasciato: è il mistero della vita che continua nonostante la morte.
