The 27-page report published on 10 Feb 2015 is fruit of the multi-year investigation into lynching in twelve Southern states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia) during the period between Reconstruction and World War II.
