Influential persons are now called INFLUENCERS
What are some of their distinctive positive traits?
Are they LIFE enhancers? How?
Are they SCIENCE advancers? How?
Are they EDUCATION optimizers? HOW?
Are they GENDER equalizers? How?
Are they GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION anticipators? How?
Are they of new generations of POLITICIANS motivators? How?
Are they innovative CONFLICT RESOLUTION conciliators? How?
Are they wise diplomatic NEGOTIATORS? How?
Are they respected and admired MEDIATORS? How?
Are they inspiring MEDITATORS?
Are they LIFE supporters? How?
Are they INTEGRITY exporters? How?
What type of new INFLUENCER may we envisage?
An influencer who will have the courage to be a GLOBAL RE-COMMENCER? HOW?
By proposing new ways of reshaping life, we anticipate the rise of a beautiful new world—
a PEACEFUL, NONVIOLENT, NONKILLING WORLD in which all human beings enjoy the right to share the EARTH
harmoniously, cooperatively, and above all, dignifyingly.
To realize such a goal — to sustain it, this rhymed reflection is humbly presented to you.

Francisco Gomes de Matos, Ph.D. is an applied peace linguist from Recife, Brazil. He has degrees in Languages, Law, and Linguistics. He is Professor Emeritus at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco where he is active in the Dom Hélder Camara Human Rights Commission. He is one of the pioneers in Linguistic Rights (author of 1984 Plea for a Universal Declaration of Linguistic Rights) and in the emerging area of Peace Linguistics.
