Why Nation States See Themselves in a War against a Virus and Forbid Any Normal Life

30 Mar 2020 – Is it really all happening or are we living in a science fiction? Within a few days nothing is as it always was, our whole life from yesterday to today, everything switched off, and this not only here and there, but step by step across the whole world. And why this all: A virus threatens mankind with illness and death, such a micro creature, you cannot even recognize with a binocular, and that creeps into human bodies and damages the health of humans or even kills them.

On the other hand, why should this be a science fiction? Isn’t it, at the same time, very normal that happens every day and is part of our daily life: every year around the same time mankind is attacked by those micro-creatures, viruses, creeping into the body of humans, make them sick and even kill quite an amount? The number of people infected by this virus and the number of the death this virus kills, sophisticated scientists are always able to anticipate quite precisely even in advance and at the end of each season they do the more accurate recording and do their lists. That’s all.

Not to forget: It is also a kind of routine, that the numbers of dead and ill people are counted across the year, diseases, known by mankind and by all the armies of scientists since ages, doing research about them, without finding any means against them, means which would extinguish these diseases once and forever.

Regarding the concerns nation states have with diseases, one could also remember that there is an exact documented number of people dying of hunger each minute. Also about this, there is an accurate recoding, and that’s it, and this is also very normal, there are some moral concerns expressed about this, apart from this no reason to think about this, it is also part of our life, thereby ticked off, no reason to be concerned about.

So what is the point about the Virus named COVID-19, why is this virus able to stop the entire life from today to tomorrow across the whole world? Everything, that is part of our every day’s life duties is closed down, kindergartens, schools, universities, this is where you were obliged to go to, now no longer, now it is all forbidden to go; also shops, bars, pubs, cinemas, football, everything switched off, simply everything people appreciate in the free time, switched off, now it is all forbidden to do, what so far people were even obliged to do – with one exception, working, this is where everybody still has to go to, given they are healthy, though one gets  this virus at work just in the very same way, as one can get it at school.

Why all this happens? The answer is simple: Unlike for the other diseases, making people sick and some die, there is no remedy against this virus. And why not? And what is now the problem, that there is a remedy against other diseases, though people get sick and die though there is medicine, and there is even an accurate recording about the number of sick and dead people year by year.

And, as said before, regarding those people who die of hunger minute by minute, the question, what could be done against that, is not seriously discussed, this is how it is.

This is not really any concern and nobody really cares about this, just as it is accepted that there are  people getting sick and dying of diseases against which there is medicine, however, medicine, which does not necessarily heal them, but thanks to which it is possible to control more or less how many people get ill, and, also, which people when, that is at which age, get ill and are dying.

Regarding those people who die of hunger, and where the medicine is more than simple, just giving them something to eat, nobody really cares about these people dying of hunger, and the reason for this is, that they are people who are of no use. That’s how it is, only those who can be used, get something to eat. And to be used means, to find a job and a job can only be found, if there is anybody who makes a business from these jobs. Everybody knows this, this is how it is everywhere in the world. If there is a business that can be made by employing somebody, there are jobs. Where there are no such businesses, there are no jobs. And where there are no jobs, there is no money, hence, nothing to eat. This is how the world works. That’s all about hunger.

And those people, who die of influenza or cancer, diseases against there is medicine, which does not mean that people are not getting ill or die, but where sick and dead people are taken into account as business as usual every year, in these cases, this is also not considered as a serious problem: Most people dying of cancer are mostly old people, means people who are of no more use, in this respect similar to those which die of hunger; regarding to influenza, thanks to the medical treatments, the number of ill and dead people are under control, and with this amount of people one can calculate year by year, healing this this disease  once and forever is not an objective.

And this is the whole problem about this new virus COVID-19. The Problems are not the ill and dead people, these also exist with all the other diseases, the problem is, that those people who have the say about what we all have to do everyday and who then say, that all this is now forbidden, the real problem is that there is no medicine against this virus and no medicine means that the political elites who also decide about the health care system have no means to have any control over the number of ill people, as they can do it with those other diseases. And this, having no control over the health of their people, this is the most serious trouble for them.

The answer on the question then, if medicine is such important means to have control over the people’s health, why there is no such medicine brings us already half way towards the answer on the question, why the fact, that there is no medicine against this virus, all politicians across the world consider this as being in a war and not only see it this way but also act in this way.

So, why is there no medicine? Everybody knows, that there could be a medicine against this new virus: After the last virus attack, which was called SARS, scientists strongly recommended to use this virus to do intensive research and to develop medical treatments, in order to be prepared for the next virus, based on the fact that all these viruses are very similar. To do this research and to develop any medicine against future viruses a couple of millions were needed, not at all any huge amount compared with the mountains of money which are usually moved on the markets and by nation states. And then, what happened? As everybody knows, money is only invested where it promises to return with an attractive plus. And, like everywhere else in capitalism, this research did not happen, because it did no longer promise this good business, no money was invested, neither from private capital nor from the state, because the SARS virus suddenly disappeared and anyway, the virus was only active in Asia and did not come to Europe. So, no reason to see this research as a promising business, and the research, that was ready to create this medicine was stopped. This is why there is no medicine against the new virus today.

And with this answer, why there is no medicine against this new virus, which would allow those who have control over everything and would also allow, thanks to the medicine, to have control over the damages this new virus causes, with this answer it becomes almost clear, why nation states across the world, having no control over how the virus and what kind of harm this virus is doing when to whom and to how many, why these nation states consider them being in a war and not only interpret this as a war but also act as if this was a war.

For nation states, the situation that they have no means for influencing how people are, and that it is a virus, who decides who and how many become ill, this is a worst case scenario for a nation state, because there could be nothing worse, but no longer having the say over its people, their living conditions in general and their health in particular. Because this authority over the people and the country, this is what constitutes what a nation state is all about and this is why a virus for these political authorities is questioning an otherwise never questioned sovereignty, sovereignty such a nation state is all about. A nation state without sovereignty over what happens to the people it rules questions – one must conclude – its sheer existence and this is why nation states consider themselves being in a war, just as if the virus was another nation state attacking this sovereignty with military forces. Anything that does not obey nation states, may it be a virus, for a nation state this is war, because having everything under its control, this is what makes a nation state a nation state, an absolute sovereign political power, not ever questioned by anything or anybody.

And it is this problem, by not having any medicine against this virus having no authority over the people any longer, for nation states this is war, therefore a declaration of war against a virus, followed by political measures directed towards reassuring with its health system its sovereignty over the people. And it is this aim, re-assuring its sovereignty as a nation state, no longer questioned by anything or anybody, may this be a virus, that is shaping the political actions, which are therefore consisting of political measures all made for real wars. And it is these measures performed with all the political power instruments nation states have for a war, including suspending with all the means of force a nation state has, suspending all the rules of citizen’s everyday’s lives they usually follow as good citizens, forcing citizens towards their health.

What all these nation states do to reassure their sovereignty, the measure they take and what this is telling about nation states and citizens, this will be the topic of the next blog 2.  How all these states carry out this war for reassuring their authority inside their countries and connect this in their relations to foreign countries, this is the topic of blog 3.

In fact, there are many really weird things happening: A health care system that must be protected against too many ill citizens; healthy people, who must be forced, to not become ill; to combat a virus, which does not know what a nation state border is, borders are erected and in case where they had been widely unknown, as in Europe, they are re-erected and this more than before; moreover, citizens with a foreign nationality, are by all those nation states, who care so radically about the health of citizens, expelled from countries, to not overstretch the national health care system. And many more weird things.

Part 2: States and Citizens at War Against a Virus – How One Must See Things

At first glance, everything looks as if nothing has ever been the same. Then when you take a closer look at what is happening in this war against a virus, everything is basically the same as it always is.

How one must see the war against the virus – as always: the state as a helper in times of need

The war starts by being told via the media by the highest political guard how to see the whole thing.

As usual, the politicians with their media put the whole thing with the virus and above all what their program of a war against the virus means, first of all for all in such a way that now everyone knows how to see things.

And this is how:

It’s very important to ask the right questions and there are some questions which must not be asked, so they are taken out of circulation right from the start: First of all, there’s the question why all this shit with the virus actually exists.

This question must not be asked, otherwise you would immediately come across the politicians, their health department, and the business world, both of whom did not find the preventive production of a medicine sufficiently lucrative when the last virus disappeared and with the disappearance of the virus the guarantee of good business with the virus disappeared and the scientists who were on their way to develop a medicine were sent home because of it. On the other hand, this is nothing special either: even quite normally, when the disease curves of sick citizens rise, the values of the of the stocks of the pill industry rise. Health is a business and it is a good business because the state has put all its power to make it a good business.

The next question that must not be asked is why even a state – at least that is the case with the top states in the world – which is almost suffocating on its tax revenues and has money without end, why such a state does not put money into a clever health system that is also enough for emergencies, this question too was taken out of circulation right at the beginning of the whole thing, because the answer to this question does not put politicians and the economy in a good light either: The entire health system around the world has been set up in such a way that the biggest business can be done with the least investment, and that is why everything was closed down by politicians, which was done in order to save costs and to gear the entire health system towards this kind of profiteering. From the production of medicine which must be profitable, i.e. no more antibiotics, for example, to the closure of hospitals and departments which have cut all kinds of operations which do not produce any profit, always nicely coordinated between the manufacturers of medical products and the privatized hospitals, to the doctors involved in the dividends of both manufacturers and hospitals. Elsewhere they call this kind of mafia, here this network of charitable businessmen is called “our healthcare system”, which we now have to save in the interest of all of us.

That is why we have this health care system which, when it is no longer used for this purpose and is only used for ordinary virus treatments beyond the usual masses, groans and moans more than all patients, because it no longer does business and it is therefore this health care system which must be protected from the many patients from whose treatment nothing can be earned – a healthcare system which above all needs state care. Everyone knows what that looks like: see below.

Now, after every thought of how all this shit came about with the virus, after the non-existent medicine and the health care system that was not set up for this, after all these questions about it, all this could have something to do with politics and economics, which decide on everything and anything, but want nothing to do with anything, if something goes wrong, now that such thoughts have been put aside with the ban on raising them at all, now politics has thus prepared the way for itself to now present itself as a helper in need and as a war leader who can be stopped by nothing and no one, leading his subjects into battle with the necessary force.

The impression may be deceptive, but some politicians are under the impression that the declared war is also an opportunity to finally present themselves as leaders of their nations. There are possibilities of interpretation, to present oneself more as a helper or as a commander, more Merkel or more Trump.

It may be a favour of the hour for the state, which first got the citizens into this shit with its health policy and its care for an economically profitable health system, to now present the very state as a great helper of the citizens, and that too is actually, presenting the state as a helper, is quite normal. That is what they do with every problem that politicians present to citizens. The public authorities are always presenting themselves as helpers out of need, which almost always nobody but themselves has caused. Who else but the one who decides about everything and anything, but never wants to be responsible for any need. Sometimes the division of labour between business and politics helps, as with the unemployed, who only exist because politics, which has prepared all the regulations for the economy when work does not pay off, fires them without any problems in order to then provide them with money for the unemployed, from coffers which, incidentally, people pay for themselves as long as they have work, as if the state were doing this to help the unemployed in their misery. That is how it works everywhere. And in the same way, the treatment of sick people who have been caught by the virus is presented as help for those people, sick and healthy alike, who really got into this whole “war” against the virus with their health policy and lack of medicine.

And also to sell oneself as a bossy type, that is also among politicians, not a disgusting ploy of self-portrayal, but exactly what not only politicians think that this is what distinguishes a politician with leadership qualities. And indeed, such an appearance fits in with what this job is all about, not just now.

Part 3: What States Do in Their “War against the Virus”–As Always, Patients # 1 Are the State Itself and # 2 the Economy

Then come the measures and when you look at them, you understand what it means to declare and wage a war against a virus and why politics is somehow rightly presenting itself as a commander towards and against the citizens.

For if you look at these measures, then you will also understand why the clarifications as to which questions may and may not be considered and what you should think about them are indeed helpful, at least for the politicians and it is good for politics if the citizens see it that way, but it is also clear why, when it comes to the practical measures that states take, politics then relies on measures that come from the arsenal of martial law and not on argument.

For if you look at the measures, you quickly understand how and why the fight against a disease turns into a war, what measures this war takes and also why politicians in the fight against disease not only act as warlords in war, but actually act and behave as such.

If we look at these measures and ask ourselves the question of who, in the view of these helping commanders, needs their caring help most and measure the answer to this question by the criterion by which in our society, at any rate by politics, everything that is valuable to it is measured, that is, by it, how much the state lets its care cost itself for whom, then one comes to the conclusion that the greatest case of care is first of all the state itself and then the economy, and the normal citizen who lives from work is also here in this ranking of esteem a nothing that is only as always a burden to the state.

At the top of the list of victims to be protected from the virus – is therefore the state itself, which, as it sees it and as it has set it up, helps everyone out of their misery and therefore must be protected first and foremost and with all the means it has. So the Minister of Finance reaches into his pocket and conjures up money with which the state can suddenly finance everything it wants to do without any consideration for debt and similar fuss. We still remember yesterday: No money for the poor, the sick, the weak, children, families, so nobody, we have to save. Now the state must be saved. This includes money for its health policy. Who pays the debts and when is not interested, the state certainly is not, and then, as always, it makes new debts to pay off the old ones. It can do that, others cannot, at least not those who live from work. For them, the credit line looks less limitless.

The health care system is a welfare case because, as I said, it has been trimmed down into business, and that means that, despite all the unplanned corona patients, with whom it now has to deal and with whom there is less money to be made, to continue doing business with the health care system as before. This healthcare system suffers from the corona patients, because there is no business to be done with them. So the healthcare system has to be helped: Health care, sounds more caring, that is the name of the capital that makes a big deal with the health of people, and because it cannot do business with the wrong diseases like the Corona patients, the state pays – a current example from Germany – the businessmen who make their money with operations, which unfortunately have to be cancelled now, 8 billion euros as compensation for lost business with the diseases with which real money can be made. For finance ministers, organising the whole thing differently for the sake of sick people is the most absurd thing that sick people might imagine, after all, we don’t live under socialism or anything like that, in such a case all investors are running away. This is how it works in the state health care system: get sick people, it says here as usual, but please get the right diseases that pay off for the busy health care system, otherwise the state health care system will become a welfare case for the state health policy in the war against the virus. So here too, putting money into the disease industry, here too, as always.

Then after the state, at the top of the list of the most vulnerable potential victims is “our economy”, which does not invest in health care, which has already been served. We are all dependent on them, on the “economy”, as they are called, and therefore it is essential to ensure that the “economy” continues to function. First of all, it will be pumped full of money without end, so that it is worthwhile for them to continue doing business as before, that is, so that those who own everything we have can put their money into the economy, that is, continue to produce and sell, because if they do not produce and sell because it is not worthwhile for them, there will be zero and nothing for anyone. That’s the way it is under capitalism. All the worries about their money and the reservations that these people called investors have about investing their money “with us”, are cleared up with the most generous loans the country has ever seen. So here again, as usual.

The normal people, who also go to work day after day – go on working, infection or no infection, because otherwise the economy will break down, and without them nothing will work. And that the economy is running, that means in this economy, that at the end as always the business of the investors comes out and if not, then nothing is running in this economy and people get nothing at all. That is why the economy does not only receive loans free of charge, but also money that it passes on to its employees, despite all the problems, when it is not working for all possible reasons and there are bottlenecks, so that the continued payment of the employees does not hit the investors in the till. It is out of the question for the state to pay this directly to the workers, because otherwise they would of course not go to work. That calls for skill, but that skill is the skill that politicians are very good at. And the trade unions have this skill just like the politicians: In Germany, a new collective bargaining agreement of the largest trade union in Germany has just been concluded quite unnoticed with a wage increase of ZERO percent. Why? Because, according to the union’s reasoning, we have to protect the German economy in times of the Corona crisis, and the best way to protect it from crises is, as always, to make sure that the workers work hard and earn little. As always. The economy likes that and the trade unions know that very well. Of course, trade unionists also know what problems workers will have to face, but without serving the interests of the economy, nothing can be done under capitalism, and that applies all the more to war against the virus. So that is what the trade union does and thus makes its contribution to the war against the virus. So here too everything is the same as always.

And then, after patient no. 1, the state, and patient no. 2, the economy, have been saved, this economy still gets its big entrance, patient no. 1, the state, has it 24 hours a day in the media.Now that the business of Corona pills is on the horizon, they are investing in a cure for the virus. We’re doing our best to make sure that you all get your pills as quickly as possible. They are making a personal statement through all channels, first and foremost and known to everyone by our patron Bill Gates, who has now also invested in pills against CONVID 19. The citizen may cheer our economy and, quite personally, the capitalists as patrons sent by God. Actually, also as always. Gratitude for the capitalists for providing us with jobs, that’s always the case, for that and only for that they spend all their money, so also always for “us” and now they also provide us with medicines, in case we catch the virus at work or elsewhere. That sounds familiar, too.

Part 4: States and Citizens at War with Each Other and Together against a Virus

Enforcing aid for the recipients of aid by force against the recipients – only states can do that. And it is this state war program, in the enforcement of which the state actually does many things quite differently with its citizens than it usually does – and yet everything here is somehow the same as always.

It took at most a few hours and fundamental civil rights, with which democratic states differ from dictatorships, as we have always heard, were abolished. From now on, no more. And this, the abolition of these rights of the citizen, which differ from dictatorships because they protect the citizen from the violence of a state, because nobody else has this violence, this abolition of all rights of the citizen was done without the introduction of a dictatorship, without the repeal of any law, but with exactly the same laws, which generously grant these liberties to the citizen, because with the same political sentiment of a generosity of the state monopoly on the use of force, they grant these liberties,  with the same full extent of their power they abolish them when they consider this generous granting of civil liberties to be inappropriate for the state, just as they do abolish tem now, when it suits the state.

And now these freedoms do not suit the state, because that would mean that the citizens themselves would make their own decisions on how best to deal with the threat to their health while pursuing their own life programmes. This is now prohibited. Any weighing up of citizens’ priorities by the citizens is forbidden, the citizen decides nothing, only the priorities set by the state and its priority setting apply, and they apply from now on immediately, and this with complete ruthlessness against any private interests and weighing up. And there is nothing and nothing at all to discuss, these state priorities will be enforced by force with the threat of painful damage, punishment, for the citizen inexorably. That is how politics always works.

The state priority is to keep the society as a whole running, and that means running what the state considers to be a priority. That is first and foremost himself and then the economy, and this means for people they have to keep go working. This is sold with the mendacious argument that the economy provides us all with what we all need. First of all, of course, nobody needs all the stuff that the economy produces; most of the stuff is produced by the economy for the economy itself, and if the economy were to produce at least the food that we actually need for us, then it would simply distribute it to everyone. Of course, this is not possible, because the economy must make a good business. In other words, the economy, also the one that produces the food, produces for its business, and without making a business, as we know, the economy produces nothing at all. And that is as it is: because everyone and everything depends on the economy making  its business, nothing works in this society, then there is  not even anything to eat, so the top political priority of politics is to keep the business  running. Therefore, people keep on working. And in order for that  priority to let people work as usual, all other priorities of citizens are prohibited

And then, because this dependency of citizens on the economy is established as their condition of life, then on top of that, the prohibition of all private decisions of citizens, enforced by state power, and the enforcement of the priorities of the state, prioritizing caring about  the state and the economy, at the expense of the interests of the citizens, this is sold to these citizens as a concern for their living conditions and their health.  And these costs are not peanuts and everybody can already count them, and one may already ask who will bear all these costs for all the money given to the economy and the damages it will have – certainly not the economy, because it has to run, because without it nothing will work. It is, as we are told, our economy that must survive this crisis, and our citizens must pay for it in the interests of their health, with the suspension of their freedoms and with the costs that the crisis is causing them in the future. For the health of the economy, the leaders know a perfect remedy: unlimited credit.

And if you then ask this question not only who and what actually this economy is, which has to subordinate everything and everything to itself and the state with its monopoly on the use of force ensures that this is done: The economy, that is the 0.1% of the people who own everything, from the factories to the shops to the hospitals, and who use their property of everything and everyone to make more out of all their money, and to make more and more of it, without end; the rest of humanity is taken care of so that this wealth actually grows and grows and grows and grows, and only when these mountains of money grow, do those who work on all this get some of it. That is the whole dependency and for this economic nonsense, to measure all economic activity not by the useful things it produces, but to measure everything and anything by whether it brings more money, for this economic nonsense all states take their people to serve this economy. That is the whole dependence and for this economic nonsense all states take their people into duties for. That’s all what this economy is about and what kind of economy it is that everyone depends on.

So the state, as one can see, has set everything up in such a way that the sate is and remains the ruler over the citizens, come what may, and in normal times as well as in exceptional situations such as the present one, the state takes them under its control and has its laws ready for all these situations. And that includes, as you can see, all the laws that grant the citizen his freedoms when it suits him, as well as switching them off very quickly from one day to the next.

One can see, then, that the big catch with all these freedoms, all these rights granted, is that they are granted, but that the guarantor of these freedoms is the one who always sees a threat to himself in the exercise of this freedoms. That is why he grants them, nothing more. All these freedoms are, as we can see, not at all self-evident, but a well-calculated grace of the political power, calculated according to the priorities of the political power. And according to these criteria of what these granted freedoms mean for this political power, they are granted or, as is the case now, if they do not suit politics, they are switched off without much ado.

And what is granted to you as a right and what the state just switches off, is not just some legal frills, but it is about elementary matters of life: to be allowed to move freely and to speak one’s mind, these are the things that decide what one thinks and does, more precisely what one says to others, what one thinks. You may think a lot, but talking to others about what you think is about the elementary in all social relationships: So allowing to tell others what you think is not just anything.   And without going there where you want to do something, you can’t do a lot of things.

That’s why the prohibition of freedom of movement prohibits nothing more and nothing less than doing what you want to do. And the fact that you can go to work despite the restrictions on freedom of movement says everything about what is important to the state and what is not.

And not to forget, besides these granted freedoms, there are all kinds of laws for all the other normal everyday things, and this for absolutely everything and anything, that is, nothing that is not regulated by law and with which the state says what is allowed and what is not.

And the fact that now all these freedoms are cancelled now for health-political purposes, this should not mislead that all these now for these health purposes cacelled freedoms could also be more violently switched and enfored on the citizen if it is about other matters than about illness. One should not be blind to not see that all these laws for the more rough cases, are all prepared  in these laws already. The doers of these laws know already now exactly which matters they have in mind which can happen, they know already now all kinds of other possible cases, in which the freedoms are not longer on. And they  even calculate on these cases  so much that they write them already in their laws now, so that when it should be they can pull this, exactly like now, from the drawer and, exactly as now, within the shortest time cancel all the freedoms bring exactly the short action like now with the virus.

Very easily, without any legal problems, fundamental rights of the subjects were abolished by decree in one country, by parliamentary decision in others.  Whatever the case, all dictatorships like China do exactly the same thing as democracies in the West, and the few politicians in command here or there do exactly the same thing everywhere. That is it, all those noble rights that endow the life of citizens with the vaunted freedom of movement are turned off as if with a light switch.

Because, nothing is more absurd for politicians than to trust those citizens who put these politicians to office to do what the politicians tell these citizens to do. That citizens, even when it is nothing but their health that is at stake, would trust the politicians in whom they have – as they say – placed their trust, would trust the views of those politicians they trust and would do what those politicians say, what they should do and not do in order not to fall ill, nothing is more absurd for those politicians than to trust their citizens to do what they tell them to do. Even if politicians, elected by the citizens, that is, democratic politicians appointed in the art of democratic ideas, take care of the health of these citizens, it is the most self-evident for these politicians all over the world – one must be more precise if one ids a politician from the world of this state policy – that the will of politics must always be imposed on these citizens by order and by force and with the threat of punishment.  In the war against a virus, in the fight for health, the citizen is treated as if he were the enemy to be fought.

And that is then again exactly the same as it always is. Even when all these civil rights apply again according to the needs of political power, when people are allowed to do again what has just been forbidden, the relationship between politics and citizens is always exactly the same: the citizen has nothing to say to the first, he may have his opinion on everything (but watch out here too), he has nothing to decide, zero, that is what politics does.   Politics not only has the monopoly on decisions about everything that is important, but also has the power to enforce its decisions against these citizens, no matter what the citizen thinks. Decisions, like here in the war against the virus, decisions are always made by politics, not by the citizens, decisions that politics always enforces with the threat of violence against the citizens, like here in the war against the virus, that is what politics always does. And it is exactly the same way that politics decides when the normal person goes to school, to work and to retire, just as it decides on all issues that are important for the lives of normal citizens. And all these decisions, are not up for discussion, but are enforced, as here in the war against the virus against the citizen, with the threat of violence without ifs and buts.

The way politics deals with the citizens in the war with the virus as the recipient of orders from politics with the threat of state violence against the citizens, this war is then again quite commonplace, also without a virus.

And what does this everyday life look like? For most people: First of all school, learn, what, decides the teacher, but what you learn doesn’t matter, learn better than the others; then professional training, what, best of all, with which you can find a good job; start a family, here you are allowed to chose whomever you want; then look for a job, without work there is no money, without money there is nothing at all, you only get money through work; that’s the law, everything else is punished; then work, every day the whole day, 5 days a week, this for 40 years, in between holidays, do politics every 4 years, always go to the polls on a Sunday, then retire at 65, take care of your hobbies, if the money is enough. No wonder that you can only bring people to this everyday life with means that are quite common in the politics that take care of these people, just like the means with which the state supports its citizens in the war against the virus.

So it is not surprising that in its fight against the virus the state, as long as everything goes its normal courser him, shuts down from one day to the next all the freedoms and rights that it normally grants its citizens, as if they were not plagued enough by the virus, threatened with punishment if they do not obey – and that the citizens will follow suit, so that the state with all its prohibitions against the citizens from its war against the virus stands as the saviour of these citizens, even though it has above all asserted its authority over the citizens, and that too is as always.

In any case, the citizens now already know what happens when the enemy in war is not a virus but other states. Blog 5 is about that.

Part 5: How Nation States Prepare Themselves, Their Peoples and Their National Economies for Conflicts with the World of Nation States

In the fight against the virus there is another group of people who have nothing to do with the virus, but who have nevertheless been made an important state issue by the state in its fight against the virus.  Whether they are sick or not, it does not matter at all, what counts is the nationality of people. People with the wrong nationality are forbidden to enter states, and those who are elsewhere are “strongly advised” to return to the state of their nationality – immediately. Again, there are no personal reasons to object to this decision, such as holidays or whatever.  Exceptions are also here obligations that are related to the job, i.e. to the economy. Otherwise: from now on home to the Reich. And not just any individual state does this, but all states do it in one way or another with their citizens. Even if the ministries in the countries appreciate the misinterpretation if the returnees think that they have to travel back to their countries so that the state can take care of their health; they are wrong and could already notice that it is about zero about health, because otherwise the state would not prohibit citizens of other countries from entering, not because they are ill, but because they have the wrong nationality. You do not belong here because you have the wrong nationality, so stay where you belong. At the latest when they have arrived home, they learn through all the media that those who are here are already being told that they should not bring the health system to collapse with their illnesses, so every ill person is an imminent disturbance.

Why they then should not stay where they were can be found out by answering the question why all people with the wrong nationality are forbidden to enter in all countries. If you think that it is about not bringing in viruses, you are also mistaken: Then you would have to allow all natives, who are ordered back from everywhere, to enter the country only if they have been tested as healthy. But that is not what is happening. And not letting any nationals leave the country, that really has nothing more to do with diseases, you would be even rid of potential sick people. What counts in this whole entry and exit policy of all states is only the nationality, English to England, Japanese to Japan, etc. From now on all people stay where they belong according to their nationality, nothing else belongs to us, no matter if sick or healthy, what counts is the nationality and every citizen is ordered and transported to where he belongs according to his nationality. That is the only thing that counts, everything else does not count, no virus diseases and certainly not any private interests why someone travels to another country.

And so you ask yourself what this is all about, the first answer is quite obvious: every state wants its citizens in its own country, in other words, it does not want its citizens to be in foreign states.

It is quite helpful to answer the question what this is all about, to deal with such things as the insistence of the USA to call this virus “Wuhan Virus” and to make every agreement of countries in this and other world political things dependent on how the virus must be named.  Obviously, these agreements of the G7 leaders, when they talk about their war against the virus or anything else in world politics, are about nothing else but agreeing about hostilities against China. And if that is not the case, nothing happens, so important is for the US that all Western states to define China as a common enemy.

It is generally noticeable that with the proclamation of war against the virus, this warlike language, with which war was declared like a virus, all states suddenly put all other forms of interstate cooperation from one day to the next, not only ad act. Not only the USA has blamed China for nothing less than all the damage in the USA caused in connection with the virus war, by calling the virus a “Wuhan virus”. And with this designation they also attacked the European states, which, according to the USA, have smuggled this Chinese enemy into the USA via Europe – in the case of Europe only negligently, this is how states distinguish types of hostility. China fights back and is not putting its interpretation into the world by some crackpots on the Internet, but by a government spokesman, according to whom it was the USA who tricked the virus into China. European states are engaged in the same kind of hostile activities using the virus, with Germany in the front, the historically trained enemy of Russia, and Russia responds by disgracing the brotherhood known as the EU by supplying aid to Italy, no European country sent. That is why the Chinese and Russians, with all the public fuss staged, are sending aid supplies to Italy, while the USA is rejecting Cuba’s offers of help. etc. etc.

So the virus goes around the world and attacks mankind. This humanity is living in a world of states and so the war against the virus is turned into a new round of hostilities between states fuelled by this war against the virus. One remembers, despite all the attention that the virus is monopolizing in all the debates in politics and the media, which present everything as if the war against the virus was about nothing but the health of the citizens, one should not miss what this war against the virus is really about and what all this martial talk about war, victims and standing together and similar heroic stuff is really used for.

The political program that is carried out here within each state, the enforcement of state rule over its people (see Blog 2, 3, 4), aims to emerge strengthened from the war against the virus and its economic fringes and to strengthen state sovereignty within the country for the way all these states deal with the outside world.  This applies above all to the states that even before the virus, have fought each other with nothing less than an economic war, that have covered the economy of the other side with a to and fro of sanctions across all economic sectors, in order to fight out who has the say in the world now and in the future. Long before the virus spread, this world of states was already at war with each other, an economic war.  Citizens may have forgotten this in view of the problems with their health, but not statesmen, who are only occupied by question who has the say, inside the country and in the world of states.

Well, everybody can still remember and if you look at what all these states are doing in their war against the virus, you can see that here too, when states look at the world of states, they are all doing the same thing: The top priority is to provide the national economy of each state with sums of credit for the economy that are unprecedented in the history of states. And any agreements or even negotiations about this, which are otherwise common, are zero. Each state decides, no negotiations.

And that, pumping the national economies full of credit without any agreements among the states, this is an explosive thing, because it fires up the already fierce economic war by means of sanctions with plenty of new war substance. In agreements of this kind which these countries have made so far, they have in fact been concerned with the question of what effects their policy of strengthening their national economies with credit has on the economic damage which these national credits cause to other states in their national budgets and their economies. Therefore, knowing that they have negotiated their credit policy in such a way that at least they have not yet ruined the entire economy or entire branches of industry of other states. That is what the USA has done in the negotiations with China and also in the negotiations between the USA and Europe. This national credit policy to strengthen national economies against the national economies of other states from now on without any advance notice or even without any negotiations, not only every state for himself, but also to do this to an extent that has never been done before, that has huge explosives in the fat credit baggage.

All the finance ministers, who grinned into the cameras last week with their big cheques for their economy, have put on this grin especially for their colleagues abroad. The message was: look, states of the world, we are well prepared for the future conflicts between us about which parts of the economy are going down the drain, and who is going down the drain. Everyone can imagine for themselves what this means and what is being announced. Pretty soon there will be no more talk of a virus. This is in response to the much-discussed question of how things will continue.

Martial law everybody has practiced and this exercise was, one must say so far, complete with success. The political elite has everything under control, there is not a trace of opposition far and wide, the business community has understood the message and is accordingly putting itself on hard terms with its competitors elsewhere, the trade unions know what their national duties are and are waiving wages, and the citizens have followed suit – with a grumble.

This finally explains why all states do not like it when their citizens are in other countries during these times, prohibit their citizens from leaving and bring back those who are abroad. States know each other well, because they know themselves, and can therefore imagine what they could do themselves, e.g. press another state with any concerns that it does not like at all.  Then the idea that their own citizens are on a foreign territory is a political nightmare, because every politician here knows immediately that citizens of their own nationality who are on a foreign territory could be a means of blackmail by this state against them. So everybody has to go home. You can already see in the war against a virus that every harmless tourist is always a bit of a civilian soldier in the hands of an enemy country in the eyes of statesmen. So, everybody must go home and without any objection and all this carried out as a veritable state action, always staged and carried out by the foreign ministries of the states with the right publicity for the people at home and the other states abroad, telling everybody that after all, ‘it’s not about health issues, but about state affairs between states.’
