A young man confided to his friend,
“I met a fabulous girl. I am hopelessly in love but don’t know how to tell her. What can I do?”
His friend recommended,
“You should shower her with praise, compliments. Say for example, ‘My dear, whenever I am away, I feel so eager to be with you that I can hardly sleep, think straight or even eat.’ They like to hear such things.”
The young man thanked him for the insightful advice. Two days later he met the girl again. Nervous, he did not remember exactly what to say and did his best:
“My dear, whenever I think of you, it spoils my appetite.”
