The Berg

The mountains stand tall
Yet look so small,
Somewhere the birds call.
The river flows gently, almost silently.
The peace embraces me quietly.
Like the arms of His warm embrace.
This is a blessing, my happy place.
The tree is naked, stripped off all her leaves
But there is something beautiful in her.
Her bareness is so delightful.
This is how the Creator weaves His design.
This is the berg, where her beauty flows.
She looks at herself in her own mirror
Soothing beauty reflected in the river.
Yet the berg stands there, looking very high
Perhaps wanting to touch the heavenly sky?
