Accepting the Seasons of Life

Celebrating Spring in South Africa
There are winters of grief
Summers of joy,
Spring awakens with a new leaf
And My heart jumps
Its like nature has given me goose bumps!
Among the cuckoo birds chirping
Will the snow be returning?
Are things not what they seem?
Don’t waste your life on selfish gain
It will be gone like the rain.
Only what you do to uplift humanity
Will bring sacred dignity.
So, in this world filled with tragedy, brutality, vanity
Unbelief in a greater power is insanity.
