Laugh Away — Small Poem
POETRY FORMAT, 2 May 2022
Dr. Ravi P. Bhatia – TRANSCEND Media Service
Row row row your boat
Gently down the stream
Keep rowing till your arms ache
Need rest and become green
Eat, eat, eat till you are full
Don’t overeat – that can be fatal
Your heart, stomach can’t complain
Better remain on a healthy lane
Look, look, look at the leaves
As they fall gently from the trees
Some are yellow, some still green
Unaware of colours that leave the branches
Leaves falling some even from the nests
Home to sparrows that they carefully built
Taking care of the eggs yet to split
Then feeding sparroettes with mothers’ beaks
Laugh laugh laugh till you cry
Laugh away your blues
Sing, sing sing and dance
While you are on the cruise
