Medicine Man or Superman

Dr. Ravi P. Bhatia – TRANSCEND Media Service
When a person is ill, he takes medicines (meds)
Even when he is not ill, he keeps these meds near
So he can consume the meds if he falls ill, is his fear
If he is not ill, he wonders why he should store them
Doesn’t he realise that there are millions of poor without meds
Is it too much effort to give these for the hospital beds
Perhaps it is, with too many forms to be filled and red tape
So he keeps piling them, leaving his cupboard in poor shape
His family warns him about this excess
Oh, you may need them when in distress
Now another argument for him to justify himself
Shift arguments on his family who find them too complex
Naturally, the neighbourhood knows this medicine Man
Compliments and praises this thoughtful Superman
