A Birthday Thank You Note

Dear Antonio, thinking of your Birthday on 8 Feb and your friendship, I came up with the following poem.

Hello hello my dear friend
Your amity shows no end
You bring news that makes one smile
One doesn’t need to travel a mile

Any return gift you offer the friend
Gift no, only a thank you note
A note or a thankful smile
That stays in memory a long while

So my friend learn to be generous
And you will also look gorgeous
With the smile on your face
And a thank you note that is copious
