12 Feb is the UN sponsored International Day Against the Use of Child Soldiers. Forced to learn to kill instead of pursuing education, they lack the knowledge and skills needed to build their futures and of their communities. For a society, the lives destroyed could have a devastating effect on long-term stability and development.
