28 Jun Global Nonkilling Day

Nonkilling is not a word
It is synonymous to being
human
We were put on Earth for
greater purpose
To help Earth
Not to loot
Not to plunder
Not to build empires
Not to hold unhinged hatred
Not to kill fellow humans
The fact that we all perish in
the end is a testament of
that
The legacy we leave behind
is that of memories
Memories of when we were
kind
Memories of when we were
there for someone in their
hour of need
Memories of holding hands
with love
May we see justice for those
oppressed
May we have the strength to
stand for the truth
May we speak in all our
languages and be the voice
for the oppressed
