25 Mar 2025 – In preparation for the US’s withdrawal from NATO, the Starmer administration in the UK has proposed a plan to send its troops to Ukraine with the participation of more than 30 European and British countries, including France and Canada, to maintain hostility towards Russia. 2. The British military officials say, “We have not received the approval of the United States or Russia. The phantom troop dispatch plan should be scrapped.” It is correct to point out that the troop dispatch plan is a phantom. However, as I see it, the troop dispatch plan will continue as a phantom. The UK and other European NATO member-countries will eventually go bankrupt, admit defeat, abandon Ukraine and reconcile with Russia. As such, their plan is extremely foolish that will inevitably lead themselves to the defeat and bankruptcy. That is why the British military leaders are opposed to it and want to scrap it. It would be better to take realistic measures and quickly reconcile with Russia. However, that might not happen. 4. In my article on 19 March 2025, I wrote about how the Russian army surrounded the Ukrainian army occupying Kursk in Russia and began demanding their surrender. After that, the Russian army lifted the siege and allowed the Ukrainian army to abandon the occupation and return to Ukraine. Putin visited Kursk and stated, “The Ukrainian army is surrounded by the Russian army and cannot withdraw unless it surrenders.” The Ukrainian side boasted, “We are winning. We will not surrender.” However, after that, it seems that the Russian army lifted the siege, and the Ukrainian army withdrew without surrendering, and the occupation of Kursk ended. Why did Putin lift the siege? Because Trump asked Putin to treat the Ukrainian army well. 5. If the Ukrainian army remained surrounded in Kursk, the British who are pushing for the Ukrainian troop dispatch plan must first take measures against Kursk. Even if that is only a political move, the hostility between the UK, Europe and Russia could have intensified excessively, and the troop dispatch plan could have also become more dangerous. Then, it could have become far much difficult for the European countries to get on board. The UK and other European countries are weak. 6. Thinking further from this story, Zelensky, who continues to claim, “We are winning. We will fight until Russia is destroyed” even though the Ukrainian army continues to lose and is exhausted, is the perfect Ukrainian leader for the “phantom Ukraine dispatch policy” that Trump and Putin have started to get the British to do. 10. According to Putin’s security aide (Nikolai Patrushev), the US has made a move toward Russia in the Arctic Territorial Dispute. On the surface, the US is tolerating the UK and Europe’s hostility towards Russia while not participating, creating an environment in which the UK and Europe can continue to hostile Russia.
