Taxes All the Way
POETRY FORMAT, 21 Dec 2020
Dr. Ravi P. Bhatia – TRANSCEND Media Service
All of us are taxed in one way or another
There is the Income Tax even if you hardly earn
There is the Sales Tax if you buy anything
How to avoid it you gradually learn
But if you get caught cheating to whom do you turn
All these big companies — Google, Amazon, FB
Tax you discreetly, and make themselves wealthy
Now a new tax is being introduced — Fat Tax
What the dickens is this Tax
If you are thin, just relax
This tax applicable only on Fat People
Why, what is their crime
No crime but there is greater amount of cloth
and brains used by Tailors
To make you look elegant and trim
In the clothes you buy from the Designers
The Ads circulating for Fat Tax are interesting
Holding your attention, making them captivating
Don’t worry if you find food fascinating
And gorge a bit too much for your body building
So go ahead, you men and women with a large waistline
Stand out; display the costumes that look pretty and fine.
