The past week has been melancholic
Anger, fear, panic has ceased.
Long dark nights have ended, resilience and tolerance has increased
Darkness has dissipated, unity is preached.
Something is emerging from the cocoon
Something is being released.
A new Normal perhaps?
Can miracles be made out of madness?
People fighting for their communities.
Using their bodies as human shields
This maybe sadness but the result they yield.
Strangers and neighbors bonding together.
Its ubuntu! They are altogether.
Melancholy is gone, God has listened.
The looted goods don’t glisten.
A new force of togetherness has risen.
So, let’s strengthen our bond.
There’s no time for any kind of division.
They have carried enough ammunition.
Ultimately, it’s time for reflection, there is no magician!
Don’t rely on anyone’s imagination.
No more friction or opposition
Only God can listen.
