Movements Around Us

All sorts of movements take place around us and give us pleasure and the feeling as to what would happen if there was no movement.
Movements can take place in air , on the ground and in water.
The most common movements in air occur due to flight of birds both big birds high up in the sky and smaller birds not too high and not too far from us — the onlookers. The big birds are usually called kites and the smaller birds have local names such as maina or chidiya (sparrow).
We usually do not know how the big birds create their nests in which they can put their eggs . Smaller birds like sparrows make their nests in trees or sometimes in small crevices in the homes of people. The nests are sufficiently big and are comfortable for dropping the birds’ eggs in them.
After a suitable period of time the eggs are broken by the sparrows themselves and out emerge their babies — the small sparroetes. If the birds do not break their eggs , they are broken by the natural process of the birds themselves and out emerge the baby sparrows.
Apart from the birds that fly in air, there is movement of small creatures on the ground— a tortoise or a rabbit or some other creature that can run around on the ground either for searching for some morsel of food, or just playing around by intricate movements that appear beautiful and skilful to onlookers.
Air and grounds are quite common for birds and several creatures. In addition there are ponds or lakes where one can see fish swimming and enjoying themselves especially when the climate is warm. Of course some fish are caught by suitable means and are shifted as food for people.
One can see some creatures that make their nests on trees — on branches with a lot of leaves so that they feel secure and do not fear being caught by people or by bigger birds. One common creature that moves around on the branches is the squirrel that has a tail that is as big as its main body and which makes it jump around on the trees’ branches .
As indicated above we see movements of birds or squirrels on trees or rabbits on the ground. One should not forget the occurrence of monkeys both on the ground or on trees. They are full of energy and movement and keep on jumping from one branch to another. They also run or jump on the ground and display some movements that can be called acrobatic.
Sometimes when a person is sitting and reading something from a book or newspaper, they quietly come to the individual and take away his reading glasses. How to get back ones glasses? By some tricks especially by throwing a banana at the monkey who then returns the glasses to its owner.
Often the monkeys have many bananas that are thrown at them. We often see half eaten bananas near monkeys. In fact some banana sellers do good business as people throw bananas at the monkeys who may eat some and let uneaten bananas remain near the monkeys.
Movements occur everywhere — be they be bananas or some other items that are not consumed by monkeys or some other creatures interesting with or without monkeys and bananas .
