(Castellano) Palestina Agradece Reconocimiento del Congreso Español

El documento fue aprobado la víspera por 319 votos a favor, dos en contra y una abstención y sigue a otro similar pasado por la Cámara de los Comunes británica días atrás.
El Gobierno palestino calificó este miércoles [14 nov 2014] de importante e histórica la proposición de ley del Legislativo español de reconocer a Palestina como Estado y consideró que se trata de una posición histórica avanzada.
“Elogiamos a los partidos políticos que contribuyeron a aprobar esta importante e histórica decisión”, relata el texto, firmado por el canciller palestino, Riyadh al Malki, que insta al Gobierno español a reconocer “a Palestina para ayudar al éxito de las negociaciones con los israelíes”.
A finales del pasado mes de octubre, el primer ministro sueco, Stefan Lofven, anunció la intención de su gabinete de extender su reconocimiento al estado de Palestina como contribución al fin de la crisis en el Levante, cuyo centro es la causa palestina.
El anuncio fue hecho efectivo horas después por la canciller Margot Wallstrom quien aclaró a principios de esta semana que en lo inmediato su país no abrirá una embajada en Ramallah, la ciudad de la Cisjordania ocupada donde radica el Gobierno encabezado por el presidente Mahmoud Abbas. La decisión sueca y la tendencia a adoptar pasos similares por países de la Unión Europea, provocó el disgustó del primer ministro israelí, Binyamin Netanyahu, quien amenazó con atacar a todos los que mencionen las palabras Estado palestino.
El reconocimiento sueco y las resoluciones parlamentarias británica y española, que puede ser seguida de una francesa, según expertos que coinciden con un agravamiento de la crisis en los territorios ocupados, en particular en Jerusalén, donde se registran protestas y actos de violencia.
