Hackers Point Out U.S. Arming, Funding ISIS

The Syrian Electronic Army has claimed responsibility for hacking the U.S. Army’s website to show that both the Pentagon and the CIA are supporting ISIS to topple Assad.
8 Jun 2015 – The hacker group posted a screenshot on Twitter showing Army.mil defaced with pop-up messages stating “Your commanders admit they are training the people they have sent you to die fighting!” and “Stop training the terrorists!”
The SEA is shedding light on a largely open secret: the U.S. and other NATO nations are arming and funding ISIS to topple Syrian president Bashir al-Assad, who stands in the way of a critical natural gas pipeline that would depose Russia as Europe’s primary source of energy.
The link between ISIS and the U.S. was revealed in a declassified U.S. government document obtained by Judical Watch which stated that “the Salafist [sic], the Muslim Brotherhood, and AQI [al-Qaeda in Iraq] are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria,” and that “the West, Gulf countries, and Turkey support [this] opposition” while Russia, China and Iran “support the [Assad] regime.”
“The secret Pentagon document thus provides extraordinary confirmation that the U.S.-led coalition currently fighting ISIS, had three years ago welcomed the emergence of an extremist ‘Salafist Principality’ [radical Islamic movement] in the region as a way to undermine Assad,” investigative journalist Nafeez Ahmed explained.
In other words, the West is backing ISIS to destabilize the Middle East, particularly Syria for the aforementioned reasons.
“The revelations contradict the official line of Western government on their policies in Syria, and raise disturbing questions about secret Western support for violent extremists abroad, while using the burgeoning threat of terror to justify excessive mass surveillance and crackdowns on civil liberties at home,” Ahmed added.

Former Secretary of State and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton also admitted the U.S. is responsible for al-Qaeda and later ISIS.
“…The United States had – to be fair – we had helped create the problem we’re now fighting,” she said in an interview with Fox anchor Greta Van Susteren. “When the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, we had this brilliant idea we were going to come to Pakistan and create a force on Mujahideen, equip them with Stinger missiles and everything else to go after the Soviets inside Afghanistan.”
“Now you look back [and] the people we’re fighting today, we were supporting in the fight against the Soviets,” Clinton added.

Furthermore, Turkey, a member of NATO and a U.S. ally, was caught last January shipping missiles to al-Qaeda and ISIS via Syria-bound trucks operated by the country’s intelligence agency with the full support of Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
Turkey’s Gendarmerie General Command, a branch of the Turkish Armed Forces, took issue with the Turkish government arming Islamic extremists fighting in the Syrian Civil War and ordered a search of suspicious-looking trucks traveling from Turkey to Syria.
After searching three of the trucks, the GGC discovered 45 to 55 missiles or rockets, 30 to 40 crates of ammunition, including mortar rounds, and Douchka anti-aircraft ammunition.
“The trucks were carrying weapons and supplies to the al-Qaeda terror organization,” the GGC’s report stated.
But Davutoglu banned media from reporting on the incident and also removed public prosecutor Aziz Takei from office for ordering the search.
Additionally, the 13 soldiers involved in the search were charged with espionage and are facing 20-year prison terms.
“Though the scandal is tearing the country apart, the government opted for its favorite tactic of covering it up,” Turkish journalist Fehim Taştekin reported. “A court in Adana banned written, visual and Internet media outlets from any reporting and commenting on the stopping of the trucks and the search.”
“All online content about the incident has been deleted.”

The Turkish government was also known to be training ISIS militants to fight in Syria.
“…After training in Turkey, thousands of ISIS fighters went to Iraq by way of Syria to join the effort to establish an Islamic caliphate subject to strict Islamic law, or Shariah,” Aaron Klein of WND reported.
