(Italiano) Natale 2015: tra Capitini, Maometto e Gesù

23 dicembre 2015 – Le date di nascita di Maometto e Gesù sono incerte, ma quella di Gesù è da sempre convenzionalmente festeggiata il 25 dicembre nel Natale cristiano. Tuttavia, quest’anno, come ci ricorda la grande fotoreporter Monika Bulaj (La Repubblica, 20 dicembre2015) “per la prima volta negli ultimi quattrocentocinquantasette… Maometto nasce quando nasce Gesù…. Coincidenze. Del resto, e oggi pare così strano ricordarlo, le due religioni si sono rispecchiate l’una nell’altra nei secoli a suon di melodie e usanze, e si sono prestate poesie e riti come i buoni vicini si prestano il sale.”

Ma c’ è un’altra data che è bene ricordare. Oggi, 23 dicembre, è la ricorrenza della nascita di Aldo Capitini, il grande maestro della nonviolenza italiana. E poi, scusate se è poco, tra le due date sono nato io, il 24 dicembre 1943, in piena guerra mondiale.

Auguriamoci che queste concomitanze possano portare un po’ di luce e speranza a questa umanità affannata, inquieta e desiderosa di maggiore serenità, tra caos climatico e minacce di guerre totali.

Intanto, oltre a queste occasioni di festa e di celebrazione, continuiamo nel nostro lavoro quotidiano, come tante piccole formiche nonviolente e invitiamo tutti e tutte a unirsi nel progetto di costruzione di una società più armonica e nonviolenta.
