Is the creator, the artist, behind this “cartoon” the editor, Antonio C.S. Rosa?
It is difficult to identify the artist from the note on the bottom corner of the right frame.
Whoever it is, let the artist stand up and take a bow!
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. I would say that a good one–like this, a satirical work in the manner of Hogarth, et. al.–is worth more or less than a thousand… so long as they are the best words–words that are fitting and insightful–the sort that a poignant “cartoon” like this evokes.
I just posted the cartoon, Gary. Unfortunately I could not identify-and credit-the author of the excellent commentary on Europe today. If someone out there knows who the author is please let me know as well. Tks.
