Oh, that Eternal Swing

Adolf P. Shvedchikov – TRANSCEND Media Service
Oh, that eternal swing,
Up into the sky, then down,
Unattainability of the desired goal,
And again the cornice of abyss…
Flows of lies, suffering of soul
And the salt of untimely tears,
Heavy load of misunderstanding,
A set of monstrous threats.
Tell me, human people,
Why the fondest world is broken,
Are we already mental cripples,
How long to hear the rumble of mortar?
