(Português) Estudo revela que o café pode ajudar a diminuir o risco de cancro da próstata

São Necessários Três Cafés por Dia

30 abril 2017 – De acordo com um estudo italiano, três chávenas de café por dia podem ajudar a reduzir, em mais de 50%, o risco de cancro da próstata.

Esta pesquisa foi realizada e concluída por especialistas do Instituto Neurologico Mediteraneo de Pozzilli, em conjunto com o Instituto Superior de Saúde e com o Instituto Dermopativo dell’Immacolata de Roma, conduzida por George Pounis e publicada na revista Internacional Journal of Cancer.

Segundo a ANSA, os investigadores analisaram o consumo de café de cerca de sete mil homens, residentes na região do Molise.

“Analisando os hábitos relativos ao consumo de café e os casos de cancro da próstata apontados na amostra, foi possível evidenciar uma diminuição do risco, de 53%, nas (pessoas) que bebiam mais de três chávenas por dia”, avançou Pounis.

Na segunda parte do estudo, os investigadores do estudo testaram as ações dos extratos de café, com ou sem cafeína, nas células dos tumores em proveta.

O primeiro mostrou a capacidade de reduzir, significativamente, o crescimento das células cancerígenas e a capacidade de se formarem metástases.

No entanto, o efeito da cafeína desaparece com o descafeinado, o que prova que, muito provavelmente, o efeito benéfico se deve à cafeína.
