25 Feb 2013 – Whaling conservation organization, Sea Shepherd, has accused Japan of bringing a military style ship to the conflict in waters off Antarctica. The Sydney Morning Herald reports that a Japanese military ice breaker approached the Australian Antarctic Territory where Sea Shepherd ships, whaling ships, and a Korean tanker were engaged in an intensifying conflict.
