22 Apr 2020 – The coronavirus-stricken crew of the USS Roosevelt would be more useful making N-95 masks, building housing for people living on the streets, and tilling community gardens to prepare for supply chain collapse. Why don’t we just bring them all home? What the hell is our Coast Guard doing off the coast of Iran anyway? Who’s protecting New Jersey?

25 Mar 2020 – The Pentagon insisted on going ahead with provocative NATO war games near Russia’s borders, despite the coronavirus epidemic, but Germany pulled its forces out and closed its roads to troop movements. The US is doing a poor job of helping its own population. Europeans are figuring out that the US is a morally and spiritually bankrupt nation and that’s no doubt dawning on Americans who see the scarcity of medical equipment and the abundance of lethal weapons here.

19 Feb 2020 – The West’s major media, New York Times, Washington Post, The Guardian, the BBC, etc. have reported on the shocking death of Kizito Mihigo, a gospel singer and political dissident in the tiny Sub Saharan African country of Rwanda. But will it do anything to erode the West’s support for Rwandan President Paul Kagame, the tyrant and war criminal who no doubt ordered his execution? Probably not, because Kagame is their gateway to the riches of the Congo.

12 Dec 2019 – Since 1996 the history of DRC provinces has been of perpetual Rwandan and Ugandan invasion, occupation and resource plunder, and the UN Organization Stabilization Mission (MONUSCO) has failed to protect the people or the peace. I spoke to Jean-Claude Maswana about why and whether anything can be done. Maswana is a Congolese native and economics professor at Ritsumeikan University, Japan.

13 Nov 2019 – The final 2019 UN Group of Experts Report on the Democratic Republic of the Congo confirms that Congo’s eastern neighbor Rwanda remains a haven for smuggling Congolese minerals. “Earlier UN reports said that during the Second Congo War of 1998 to 2003, President Paul Kagame’s government created a ‘Congo Desk’ to organize the illegal exploitation of Congo’s natural resources.”

3 Sep 2019 – Whether donors contribute to the general budget or earmark funds for poverty relief, they inevitably fund Rwanda’s ongoing, catastrophic occupation of the Democratic Republic of Congo where more than four and a half million of 81 million Congolese are among the country’s ever-growing population of “internally displaced persons,” aka internal refugees.

In 2010 Ingabire returned home from the Netherlands to Rwanda to run for president against incumbent autocrat Paul Kagame. Kagame’s government did not allow her to run or register her party and instead arrested and imprisoned her in October of that year.

10 Apr 2019 – Western propaganda about the Rwandan Genocide has been so triumphant that a Rwandan Hutu on trial in the West faces inevitable jury bias. Last week a jury in Boston Federal Court convicted Rwandan asylum seeker Jean Leonard Teganya of fraud and perjury for lying on his immigration papers about his involvement in the 1994 Rwandan Genocide.

“The institutionalization of the ‘Rwandan genocide’ has been the remarkable achievement of a propaganda system sustained by both public and private power. We’re told that the US failed to stop Rwanda’s 1994 genocide, so we’re now obliged to ‘intervene’ anytime and anywhere another genocide is underway.”

The Congo crisis is now one of the greatest humanitarian emergencies in the world and the most underreported. An average of 5,500 people a day flees violence and insecurity, even more than in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. Unlike Iraq, Syria, and Yemen, however, the Congo wars are undeclared and there’s no front line.

6 Dec 2017 – African Union Commission Chair Moussa Faki Mahamat praised Rwanda’s offer “to resettle up to 30,000 African migrants languishing in Libya.” The same story was reported across the Internet and newspapers in the US, Europe, and Africa. Rwandan President Paul Kagame is grandstanding as Papa Africa on the world stage, but nothing could be further from the truth or more preposterous than his proposal. Here are four reasons why.

Rwandan President Paul Kagame is a modern day exemplar of French King Louis XIV’s theory of government: “L’état, c’est moi” (“I am the state”). Agility with shell companies and offshore accounts are highly valued, and a boundlessly self-righteous sense of entitlement is absolutely required. As with all things Kagame, connection to the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation are an added plus.
