Il debito è superiore alla somma di denaro sul pianeta. Ma che cosa si può fare con i bankster al comando? Non granché; donde la cattiva prospettiva. Gli USA si auto-ingannano costruendo magazzini anziché fabbriche. Il punto non è la clemenza per Snowden bensì mollare la NSA e punire i trasgressori ai diritti umani, anche alleati. L’Occidente tenta di guadagnare terreno propizio a livello morale cambiando il discorso su qualcosa che ritiene di possedere che altri non hanno: la democrazia. But they may serve as instruments for scripts engraved on the deeper recesses of their minds, not the conscious, easily retrievable ones. Scripts that are too trivial, obvious, too painful/shameful and hence repressed. Jung calls them archetypes; they often come in syndromes.

Siria ha risposto alla tematica delle armi chimiche dando un premio Nobel per la Pace a una ONG impegnata nella proibizione delle armi chimiche; in linea con il testamento di Nobel, riduzione delle forze permanenti. Ma perché non condiviso con Putin, il politico che ha focalizzato la sua azione sulle armi anziché su “chi l’ha fatto” (con duecandidati validi), e inoltre su tutte le Armi di Distruzione di Massa, quando Obama non aveva altro da offrire che attacchi missilistici alle fortezze di Assad? E invece no; un paese NATO dà il premio all’Occidente, non alla Russia.

Syria responded to the chemical arms issue by giving a Nobel Peace Prize to an NGO for the prohibition of chemical weapons; in line with Nobel’s testament, reduction of standing forces. But why not shared with Putin, the politician who focused on the arms not on “who done it” (with two good candidates), and WMD to boot, when Obama had nothing but missile attacks on Assad strongholds to offer? But no; a NATO country gives a prize to the West, not to Russia.

In questa conferenza si sta usando una parola molto controproducente: post-conflitto, invece di post-violenza. Non confondetele: la violenza significa fare del male, nuocere; i conflitti sono obiettivi incompatibili. “Post-conflitto” suona come se tutto fosse risolto con la fine della violenza, senza la consapevolezza di dover ridurre la diseguaglianza flagrante, e procedere verso l’armonia attraverso l’empatia, la riconciliazione dei traumi, e la capacità di risoluzione ricorrente dei conflitti.

In this conference a highly counter-productive word is being used: postconflict, instead of post-violence. Do not confuse them: violence means hurting-harming; conflicts are incompatible goals. “Postconflict” sounds like all is solved with the end of violence, oblivious to reducing flagrant inequality, to harmony through empathy, trauma reconciliation, and capacity for ongoing conflict resolution.

Nixon; six years is the Mexican government ‘official’ count) just add a hundred thousand people killed, thirty thousand disappeared, millions traumatized, the fact that one out of four Mexicans live in the US as economic refugee, that six out of ten live in poverty, and that ten million of them –out of a population of 120 million- live in misery, and we will have an updated image of the situation. Thus, the Balkans were doubly divided in the 11th century by the schism between the Catholics and the Orthodox in 1054, following the 395 split between the Western and Eastern Roman empires, Rome vs Constantinople; and the declaration of war on Islam by Pope Urban II on 27 Nov 1095.

The church should become a home for all and not a small chapel. “We have to find a new balance”, the Pope says, “otherwise even the moral edifice of the church is likely to fall like a house of cards, losing the freshness and fragrance of the gospel”.

Sei civilizzazioni vogliono dire sei modelli di sviluppo; sparsi su otto poli in un mondo ottagonale: USA e UE, entrambi liberali occidentalio; Russia in ricerca (ipotesi ragionevole: per una versione migliorata del marxismo occidentale); India, enorme, ma impacciata col suo hinduismo; Cina in quanto Cina (col Giappone in dolorosa ricerca di stabilità fra USA e Cina); mondo musulmano, l’ Organizzazione della Cooperazione Islamica (OIC), in ricerca di una ummah [comunità di credenti] nella regione dell’OIC, con il conflitto sunniti-sciiti risolto; Africa in cerca di un eclettismo basato su principi secolari occidentali, sull’Islam e su qualcosa della propria cultura; America Latina immersa sin d’ora in un creativo dialogo infra-occidentale.

Come up with constructive, concrete, creative proposals–they may work. Fumiko Nishimura and Dietrich Fischer joined; today there are 522 members invited from 80 countries; 40 percent are women. From the beginning four tasks were defined for the network.

What matters is fear; that people are afraid and abstain from protests and nonviolent actions lest they are singled out. Less important than really checking everybody’s email, web activity and listening to telephone calls is people believing that it is happening. The trick is to do so indiscriminately, not focusing only on suspects but making people feel that anyone is a potential suspect; making them play safe out of fear, turning all potential activists into governable passivists. Leaving politics to the Big Boys, with muscles at home as well as abroad.

La mia introduzione al taoismo è avvenuta tramite Joseph Needham e filosofi cinesi di Pechino. Essi considerano la scienza occidentale molto preconcetta con il suo atomismo, la sua deduzione – l’aristotelico tertium non datur – i suoi valori, che conducono a false dicotomie. Il taoismo ispira la ricerca del sia-sia, come nell’attuale capi-comunismo cinese. O comu-capitalismo.

A few years ago the two countries were the leaders in mental anxiety in the Americas. Both had good reasons: the longest lasting violence in any contemporary country; in Colombia from 1949 with some interruption, then on again from 1964 with FARC, the famous guerilla. And for the USA the conviction that Evil is around every corner, domestic and global; better have the arms to handle those bad guys.

Gli USA ovviamente cercano di neutralizzare l’autonomia latinoamericana/caraibica come fanno con i vari interventi e uccisioni selettive, Francia-Gran Bretagna-Italia cercano di riconquistare l’Africa, e il Giappone vuole una certa egemonia nell’Asia dell’Est. Non ci riusciranno: l’integrazione latinoamericana è già troppo avanzata. L’Africa ricupererà con l’Islam, e Abe non può basare una propria massiccia esportazione ai paesi che il Giappone ha brutalizzato senza impegnarsi in una riconciliazione che fa di tutto per evitare.

My introduction to daoism was via Joseph Needham and Chinese philosophers in Beijing. They see Western science as heavily biased with its atomism, deduction–aristotelian tertium non datur–values, leading to false dichotomies. Daoism inspires the search for both-and, like current Chinese capi-communism. Or commu-capitalism.

The search could be for solutions, not for the solution. UN-supported facilitators, with knowledge of mediation, rather than with guns and binoculars. To do this, let the parties, outside and inside Syria, talk. Let them state their goals, the Syria they would like to see. What comes to mind is a Swiss solution. One Syria, federal, with local autonomy, even down to the village level, with Sunnis, Shias and Kurds having relations to their own across the borders. And non-aligned, which rules out foreign bases and flows of arms.

La Cina brucia carbone-petrolio-gas, ma è anche un possente pioniere nelle energie verdi, con pannelli fotovoltaici e solari termici e auto elettriche, prodotti in maniera sempre più ecologica. Negli USA lobby molto efficienti del carbone-petrolio-gas impediscono la conversione ecologica e promuovono tecniche estrattive ecologicamente dannose. Siamo già piuttosto addentro in un mondo economicamente dominato dai BRIC, aggiungendo la S del Sud-Africa per chiarire il messaggio: Sud-Sud-Sud contro neppure un miliardo di abitanti del NordOvest del mondo + il Giappone; militarmente è solo una questione di tempo prima che i primi droni colpiscano gli USA, come seguito all’11 settembre 2001, e chiunque si dedichi a esecuzioni extragiudiziarie; decisioni cruciali vengono prese dai BRICS (CELAC per l’America Latina), un giorno magari istituendo una contro-ONU senza veto; culturalmente considerando la loro diversità come risorsa essenziale, ispirandosi a tutte le culture.

North Korea could dismantle its verbal and physical threats, hoping for peace treaty-normalization in return. Like in Cuba 1962, that would not be one good for another, but one wrong for another. Would USA, used to dictate outcomes giving nothing in return, agree? Like in 1962 keeping it secret, with a “profile in courage” narrative? Hopefully, but not very likely, some secret deals are in the making. A change of mentality is needed, like in Europe in 1950. That may take centuries, but could also happen very quickly under enlightened statesmanship.

China burns coal-oil-gas, but is also a massive pioneer in green energies with photovoltaic and solar cells and electric cars, produced in ever greener ways. In the USA highly effective coal-oil-gas lobbies prevent the greening and promotes ecologically bad extraction. The world is moving East, the East is moving green. And so are millions. Decreasing demand will be a function of Harm X Green, boycotting the companies causing harm, “girlcotting” the green.

L’Iraq aveva problemi ma non le vittime, l’esilio e gli sfollamenti della guerra – che può durare altri 10 anni avendo sconvolto tanti equilibri instabili. Eppure si va incontro alle dipendenze belliciste di USA-RegnoUnito, mandando gli altri all’inferno. Quella gente dovrebbe essere nota per la loro incapacità collaudata di analizzare e prevedere e rimediare. L’accademia dovrebbe essere per gli intellettuali, non per i clercs, l’intelligentsia.

Il primo papa gesuita. La Società di Gesù, fondata da Ignazio di Loyola, fu un movimento di rinnovamento dall’interno nel 1534 dopo l’enorme riforma dall’esterno, il protestantesimo, in particolare Lutero nel 1517. Ci sono voluti più di quattro secoli per arrivare in cima; forse è cambiata la Chiesa, forse papa Francesco è un gesuita morbido. I gesuiti sono noti per essere preti che esercitano il loro ministero, e per avere una seconda professione, spesso come intellettuali, e di alto livello. Papa Francesco ha la stessa doppia reputazione. Promettente.

Iraq had problems but not the casualties, exile and displacements of the war-which may last 10 more years having upset so many unstable equilibia. The first Jesuit pope. The Society of Jesus, founded by Ignatius de Loyola, was a renewal movement from the inside in 1534 after the huge outside reforma, the protestantisms, Luther-1517 in particular. More than four centuries was needed to reach the top; maybe the Church changed, maybe Pope Francis is a soft Jesuit. Jesuits are known for being priests exercising their ministry, and for having a second profession, often as intellectuals, and high level ones. Pope Francis has the same double reputation. Promising.

Il terzo livello di quelli sopra delineati, i mercanti, ovviamente esigono la loro parte, usando il proprio capitale bancario per comprare potere politico, addirittura fino all’estremo del salvataggio pubblico qualora le perdite superassero i guadagni. La bancocrazia opera mediante un parente stretto, la corruttocrazia, il governo dei corruttori sui corrotti pagati per i loro servigi. La corruzione è rampante. Perché? Perché la corruzione nel sistema politico, la conversione di denaro in decisioni, ha un parente stretto nel sistema economico, la commissione.
